The thing that I find most interesting is the arms seem to be uncontrolled by the puppeteer’s arms (You can see the exoskeleton in them but not the legs). If this is true then either the arms are posable to change them from shot to shot allowing a game accurate “weeping angel” movement (characters only moving when the camera dont see them), controlled by a techie offset, allowing for more robotic arm movements or even potentially both. I made this mockup of how I think this works.
